Providing basic, life saving and cost effective services to festivals in Ireland.
Help not Harm expands on traditional festival welfare by providing a level of expertise which has been neglected from festivals for decades. While we understand drugs are illegal and can be dangerous, we accept that some people may choose to use them. In many cases, when people die or are seriousy injured by drugs, it's from simple and avoidable causes such as over-heating and dehydration.
We believe it's important to engage in health promotion around drugs and sexual health, as well as provide emotional support for people who might have taken drugs. Our services include outreach, crisis support, de-escalation and completely non-judgemental support.
All our staff are either trained youth and drug workers, or have taken part in festival welfare at large UK festivals, including Boomtown, Creamfields, Secret Garden Party, EDC and more. We provide 24 hour dedicated support, eviction support, emotional and non-medical support and harm reduction material.
